Mike's  solo acoustic shows feature his strong original songs and his own take on some epic covers of folk songs and favorite classic tunes . 

His original songs have been covered by many and hailed by the likes of such legend writers as Ian Tyson and Tom Russell. His tune "Happy Reunion" was just recorded by Colter Wall and released on a 45 and was Colter's radio single. Colter and his band perform the song at most every show and recently played it on Austin City Limits.

 A featured performer at The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko Nevada 18 times, he has performed across the U.S. and Scandinavia.

 His strong guitar playing is always a favorite addition to the show.

Mike has toured with folk legends Ramblin' Jack Elliott and Ian Tyson among others, and recently was invited to open for Little Feat, being their only opener on their 50th Anniversary Tour.

The Western Horseman Magazine selected 2 of Mike's songs when they compiled a list of the top 13 cowboy songs. Alongside Ian Tyson, Gene Autry, Tom Russell, among others.
